Q: Are EU customers required to pay import duties or VAT?

A: There are no import duties or additional VAT due on orders purchased through https://eu.ogio.com/ to regions including; The United Kingdom (Excluding Jersey), Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Spain (Excluding Canary Islands), Italy, Portugal, Finland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia, Greece and Lithuania.

Customers shopping from Mainland Europe can shop confidently online, knowing that OGIO Europe have diligently prepared for Britain's exit from the EU and we have ensured that our customers will have no additional import duties or VAT due over and above what is quoted for shipping and VAT on checkout.
Shipments will continue to originate from our UK Distribution Centre in Swindon. Effective 01-01-2021, OGIO Europe will import our products on a daily basis into Germany, paying all import duties and VAT on arrival. For shipments to a final destination in other EU countries, the goods will be on-forwarded immediately after OGIO Europe pays both the duty and import VAT; the goods then being in free circulation within the EU will make their way to the final destination. 

Q: EU Shipping Delays: Updated 11-01-2021

Due to recent Brexit related changes to shipping procedures that came into affect from the 01-01-2021, our courier partner are experiencing industry-wide delays on shipments between UK and the EU of between 5-10 business days. Please bear with us while we work hard to catch up on the current backlog, we hope to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Q: Delays on EU Returns: Updated 05-02-2021

We are experiencing delays on returns made from the EU to the UK of between 15-20 business days. Following the recent Brexit related changes that came into effect on the 01-01-2021, all returns from Europe to the UK will be routed through Germany. We have taken this approach to ensure that there are no import duties or VAT for our EU customers. We expect these longer than usual lead times on our returns to be reduced substantially as the initial delays on EU to UK shipments are resolved in the coming weeks. Please rest assured that our team are closely monitoring all returns and we will work hard to ensure that every return is processed as swiftly as possible once they are received at our distribution center in Swindon, UK.
